PLEASE NOTE:

From 1^st April 2019 General Construction Operative card was withdrawn. Labourer & Health & Safety Trained card has been introduced.

An Labourer Card will be for operative working in a labouring occupation. Card will be accepted in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and GB. No need to have NVQ qualifications.

An Health & Safety Trained Card will provide evidence that the applicant has completed the CSR one day Health & Safety Training. Card will be accepted in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland ONLY.

From the 1^st September 2019 trade occupational assessments has been withdrawn.  New trade card will be issued based on a qualifications at NVQ Level 2 or higher and the CSR one day health & safety course.

An Experienced Worker card has been introduced for new candidates who are experienced but do not currently hold a qualifications. To be eligible for an Experienced Worker Card, candidates must:

• Complete the CSR one day Health & Safety Training
• Provide proof of registration on an NVQ Level 2 qualification or higher.
• Have an employer declaration signed confirming their experience

The Experienced Worked Card will be valid for 4 years form the date the candidate completes the CSR one day Health & Safety training and cannot be renewed, cardholders are expected to upgrade on or before expiry to a card based on the NVQ qualifications.

Qualifications accepted for the supervisor card will include:

• NVQ Level 4 Construction Site Supervision
• NVQ Level 3 Occupational Work Supervision

To obtain Gold Site Supervisor Card Applicants must:

• Hold Supervisor NVQ (Level 3 or 4)
• Complete 4 days Site Supervisor Course
• Pass Touch Screen Test

There is a Red Card – Experiences Supervisor available le for the experienced supervisor not holding the Supervisor NVQ. To obtain these Card applicants must:

• Complete 4 days Site Supervisor Course
• Pass Touch Screen Test
• Provide proof of registration on a Supervisor NVQ (Level 3 or 4)
• Have an employer declaration signed confirming their experience as a Supervisor.

By the end of the session the drivers will be able to: State the rules relating to drivers (i.e the vehicle condition, fitness to drive, driving hours allowed and recommendations, seat belt rules); State the general rules, techniques and advice for drivers (including speed limits, signals, stopping distances;, lines and lane markings); State safe ways of using the road(including overtaking; roundabouts, junctions, pedestrian crossings); State the Restrictions (including heights, weights and lengths); State Penalties and signals (including arm signals); Be able to recognise Traffic signs, road markings and vehicle markings.
